These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PetNudge mobile application ("App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

PetNudge is a pet health management application that allows you to:

• Create and manage pet profiles
• Track vaccinations and receive reminders
• Manage medication schedules
• Schedule and track veterinary appointments
• Monitor pet health metrics
• Export health reports
• Use AI-powered pet health assistant
• Generate QR codes and NFC tags for pet identification

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the accuracy of information you enter into the App
• Keeping your device secure and preventing unauthorized access
• Using the App in compliance with all applicable laws
• Backing up your data if desired (the App stores data locally on your device)

4. Medical Disclaimer

Important: PetNudge is designed to help you organize and track your pet's health information. It is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian for any health concerns regarding your pet.
• Never disregard professional veterinary advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by or tracked in the App.
• Vaccination schedules and medication information in the App are for informational purposes only and should be confirmed with your veterinarian.

5. AI Assistant Disclaimer

We are NOT veterinarians. The AI Pet Assistant feature in PetNudge is powered by artificial intelligence and provides general information only.

• Not Medical Advice: The AI assistant does not provide veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• For Informational Purposes Only: All responses from the AI are for general informational and educational purposes only.
• Consult a Professional: Always consult with a licensed veterinarian for any medical concerns, symptoms, or health questions about your pet.
• No Liability: We are not liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on AI responses.
• Emergencies: In case of a medical emergency, contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital immediately. Do not rely on the AI assistant.
• AI Limitations: AI responses may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. The AI cannot examine your pet or access medical records.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

PetNudge offers optional subscriptions:

• Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial.
• Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by PetNudge and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the App's name, logo, or branding without permission

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Your data is stored locally on your device
• We do not collect or have access to your pet data
• Deleting the App will permanently delete all data within it

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App
• We are not responsible for any health outcomes for your pets
• We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, app deletion, or other causes

10. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

• Update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time
• Change features available in free or paid versions
• Update these Terms with reasonable notice

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may terminate or suspend access to the App if you violate these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Romania.
